When the reports came that they may not be able to be rescued until December I kind of felt that I was suffocating with the idea of being trapped underground for so long.... ![]() What if you threw a party and only one person came? What if only one friend attended your big stage or movie premiere or you waited hours before your debut CD sold a single copy? How would you feel? ... The Real World Cup 06/29/2010
![]() The Real World Cup I am but one of billions that have been tranfixed by this event that occurs every four years: namely the FIFA World Cup. I have intensely followed teams through qualifying rounds, seen my hopes rise and crash with the success and failures of my favorite team. I have followed the team through the opening rounds and the elimination rounds, suffering no small amount of anxiety during this period of 30 days; one glorious month every four years. Like I said I am but one of billions... Love that lacks a 'why' 06/11/2010

![]() In 1988, calypsonian David Rudder of Trinidad & Tobago wrote a song called 'Haiti I'm Sorry'. A strange topic for that time since Haiti did not become a full member of CARICOM until 1999, and final accession was only ratified by the Haitian Parliament on 13 May 2002. Then - President Aristide signed the revised Chaguaramas Treaty on 4 July 2003, and trade between Haiti and the other countries of the region officially began on 1 January 2004, only to be suspended that year and reinstated in 2006.
